The cost of repeat treatment, prison time, ER visits is far greater than the cost of a recovery home. WHAT DO ATR PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE?

A policy and practice that residents be informed of payments from 3rd party payers for any fees paid on their behalf. FSSP grants (up to $80,000 per Sober Home) will provide the funding necessary to bring Sober Homes into compliance with MGL c. 148 s. 26H, as this new fire safety code is adopted by local cities and towns in Massachusetts. Guests feel safe, comfortable and supported at all times.
For the warmer months, we also have an outdoor meeting area, large decks, and a yard to enjoy. All rooms are double occupancy. Written permission from the property owner of record (if the owner is other than the recovery residence operator) to operate a recovery residence on the property. MASH-certified sober homes are governed by standards that address safety from an administrative, operational, property, and “good neighbor” perspective. Residents of sober homes are expected to abstain from alcohol and drug use, other than prescribed medications, and to refrain from prescription misuse. Payment terms for sober homes vary, and residents are given written house agreements.
Residents are linked to mutual aid, recovery activities and recovery advocacy opportunities. Community gatherings, recreational events and/or other social activities occur periodically.
